The project regards a new construction of a theatre addressed to chidren and teen-agers, designed by architect Italo Rota who forsaw the creation of an articulated fair face concrete structure with a series of decomposed volumes that resembled children’s cubes games.
Maciachini Theatre, the first children's theatre, completes the development of the new requalified area in the north of Milan composed by the theatrical salons and workshops.
The intervention also envisaged the environmental remediation of the area formerly destined for industrial and chemistry pole “Carlo Erba”.
